Reconstructed South Pole and Second Stage of Port Nakhodka Shopping Centers Will Open on September 10

Two FORTGROUP properties - Stage II of Port Nakhodka Shopping Center in the Nevsky District and reconstructed South Pole Shopping Center in the Frunze District of Saint Petersburg will open simultaneously on September 10. Celebrations will follow. Occupancy factor for both centers will be more than 90 per cent at the time of opening.

Port Nakhodka Shopping Center will add an entertainment component in the second stage and a stronger pool of tenants. It will become a key shopping and entertainment center for the growing  Nevsky District of Saint Petersburg.

“A new building with a total area greater than 17 thousand square meters will combine four levels of retail stores and one level of entertainment programs. During two stages of Port Nakhodka Shopping Center a combined architectural structure will be created. The buildings will connected via floors 2 and 3. The total area of the center is approximately 28 thousand square meters,” Darya Sizykh, Deputy Commercial Director of FORTGROUP said.

Opening of a super modern Cinema-5 with 6 theaters at the new center has a special significance. It is the only 6-theater cinema around Rybatskoye.

The famous TODES ballet will perform at the opening of Port Nakhodka Shopping Center. There will be master-classes, competitions with prize winning, including a very stylish scooter, the most important prize.

Yulia Kogan, the former soloist of the Leningrad group will be the main star at the opening ceremony at the completely reinvented Port Nakhodka Shopping Center. An ice-cream festival will be a part of the opening ceremony. Visitors will be able to try more than 60 flavors of this most popular desert, including some rare flavors unavailable at retail stores.

The reinvented South Pole became brighter and more modern. A new main entrance area and spacious beautifully illuminated hallways were built, new interior lighting and integrated display lines were installed, and the food court was expanded.
