A raffle, which included valuable prizes provided by tenants was organized on the main stage of the event “I love you, Europolis!” Mirage movie theater was showing free movies; an interesting advertisement event was organized by Media Markt, a computer and appliances store.

“Launching commercial properties of this scale has not happened in our city for several years and, according to forecasts, no similar events are expected in the next two years,” Maxim Levchenko, the FORTGROUP managing partner said. “We believe that completion of this project is our main achievement. We have finished it on schedule and in accordance with our original plans, regardless of the experts’ skepticism and not in the most favorable external economic and political environment.  Opening of Europolis is obviously an event of the city-wide scale. Members of the neighboring communities were especially waiting for this event. There were no major shopping malls in these communities until now. The center could attract customers who appreciate quality shopping and comfortable recreation. Therefore, we are not surprised to see such impressive results during the first few days of its operation and confident that Europolis is going to be a success.”

Europolis was designed by the Chapman Taylor Architectural Bureau, a long-term partner of FORTGROUP. Europolis, combined images of four European cities under one roof - London, Paris, Rome, and Barcelona.

The total area of the three-story shopping center with a two-story parking garage comprises  141.7 thousand square meters. Gross leasable area is 60 thousand square meters. The center will house more than 160 vendors, including stores, entertainment companies, and, the first of its kind in Russia, Angry Birds Indoor Activity Park. FORTGROUP has already signed a licensing agreement with the park’s franchise owner Rovio, a Finnish company.
