FORTGROUP “Defrosted” the Lakes Near Commendantsky Boulevard
The official opening of Five Lakes Shopping Center
located on Dolgoozernaya Street was held at the end of December 2013. The site
for building a shopping center was provided to Micromir 10 years ago. However,
it was possible to “defrost” the project and begin construction only when the
ownership was transferred to FORTGROUP.
Construction began in the summer of 2012. “Only the land lot and the walls remained from the old concept. Originally, there was a plan to build an aquatic park there. We have deleted it from the concept,” FORTGROUP’s managing partner, Maxim Levchenko said.
The sports activities at the shopping center are represented by the Gio Wellness Center. Anchor tenants also include PRISMA, a grocery store; DNS, a digital supermarket; Gorilla Park, an amusement family park; a department store CHILDREN, and stores such as oodji, YOU&ME, FUN DAY, Zarina, Familia, Podruzhka, Ralf Ringer, Sportsmaster.
The food court houses Greчка, Burger King, Teremok, McDonald’s, and other high-quality operators.
Total floor area of the 5-story shopping center is 31 thousand square meters, total leasable area – 23.9 thousand square meters.
“It is important for us that a facility that was practically lost for the city is turning into one of the centers in the community that is going through dynamic development and is becoming an integral part of its infrastructure,” Maxim Levchenko said.
